With just a few days to go before the start of the competition, the first teams registered for the Ain Bugey Valromey Tour are continuing their on-site preparations!
Since last week, several teams have arrived in the region to scout the courses they’ll be racing on during the event.
These outings allow riders to familiarize themselves with the unique characteristics of each stage, identify key sections, and refine their strategy before the start. Between training sessions and reconnaissance runs, every climb, every descent, and every turn is carefully analyzed to ensure they’re in top form on race day.
Beyond the sporting aspect, these reconnaissance runs also give the teams an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the landscapes and terrain of Valromey, a course that is as challenging as it is spectacular.
