TVO bets on novelty!

A look back at a major sporting year for Valromey

Jean-Marc VIVIER, President of the Tour du Valromey Organisation, gave a very positive assessment of the past year at the Annual General Meeting held on November 23 in Artemare. He also thanked the 65 members of the association. All volunteers, some of whom have been involved for many years, know the ins and outs of race organization by heart. Their contribution is essential to the smooth running of our events. In 2018, these volunteers provided over 6300 hours of work!

Spotlight on 2019 :

The 2019 season will kick off with the transverse Ain As, on March 17, between Saint Vulbas and Thézillieu. As for the Ain Bugey Valromey Tour, it will take place from July 11 to 14, with a number of new features. Longer stages and an individual time trial will be on the program. The mountains will also be present. For its 32nd edition, the organization can already boast 32 teams entered!

"Le Valromey", a major international "juniors" race, as it is known in cycling circles, brings the best European riders and their families to the region every year. They make a significant contribution to the region's economic development and tourism.
